Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms apply to the Laddr website and app, run by The Project Darts, a volunteer-run project in the United Kingdom. By using Laddr you agree to them.
What Laddr is
Laddr helps students and early-career professionals connect with mentors. Mentors are volunteers who share their own experience. Their advice is not professional, legal, financial or immigration advice, and we cannot guarantee any job or career outcome.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Laddr.
- Give accurate information about yourself, including your role, university or workplace.
- Keep your login details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
How to behave
Treat everyone with respect. You must not harass, discriminate against or mislead other users, share their personal details without permission, send spam or promotions, or use Laddr for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Meeting and sessions
Mentoring sessions are arranged between mentors and mentees. Use your judgement, keep conversations professional, and tell us at theprojectdarts@gmail.com if anything makes you uncomfortable.
Availability
Laddr is provided free of charge and "as is". We will try to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, The Project Darts is not responsible for the advice given by mentors or for any loss arising from your use of Laddr. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions? Email theprojectdarts@gmail.com.
